ABOUT ME

From the vibrant streets of Caracas, Venezuela, I discovered my love for the culinary arts at the age of 20. Though my initial studies were in Arts and Journalism, my true passion emerged when I enrolled in Sumito Esteve's Culinary School, where I honed my skills and expanded my culinary horizons.

Throughout my career, I had the privilege of working in various cities, including San Sebastian Donostia, Paris, Miami, New York, and now Dallas. Starting as a Chef de Partie, I steadily climbed the culinary ladder until I reached the position of Executive Chef multiple times. However, my passion for food and heritage led me on a new path—a path where I could share my culinary talents, wisdom, and warmth through unforgettable cooking classes, private dinners, and a handcrafted coffee bar inspired by my Latin American roots.

Leche de Café, born during the quarantine, came to life when traditional cooking events were put on hold, and making coffee at home became a newfound hobby. I took this opportunity to experiment with flavors and processes, leading me to introduce my artisan coffee online. What began as a small venture grew into a mobile coffee cart that I brought to farmers' markets, weddings, and events. My focus remains on Latin American flavors, locally roasted beans, and crafting my own delightful syrups.

I take immense pleasure in bringing people together in a unique and inviting atmosphere. And when it comes to both coffee and food, I firmly believe that freshness and scratch-made goodness are the only ways to go. Guided by tasting menus and inspired by seasonal and local ingredients, I infuse my favorite Latin flavors, proudly showcasing my Venezuelan heritage.
